The interviews presented originally were compiled for “Outof the Sun,” an F-16 promotional film produced by General Dynamic Fort WorthDivision. While segments in the film interviews dealt primarily with fighterdesign philosophy, the book reveals the unseen parts of the interviews thatcaptured the action and historical color – the aces' exciting, poignant andpersonal accounts of war in the air.
